Frequently asked

CineVerse FAQ

These answers reflect the current app: catalog discovery, embedded trailers, and a collection stored locally on your device.

What is CineVerse?

CineVerse is a movie and television discovery app. You can browse catalog rows, search titles, open details, move through trailer Reels, browse by genre, and keep likes or saved titles in My Collection. It does not stream full movies or episodes.

Why is a trailer unavailable?

CineVerse uses embedded third-party trailers. A video can be removed, region-restricted, age-restricted, disabled for embedding, or unavailable because of a temporary provider issue. Try another trailer or title, check your connection, and try again later.

Why do some titles have no trailer?

Not every catalog title has an available trailer that can be played in an embedded player. CineVerse keeps those titles discoverable and shows an unavailable state instead of pretending a trailer exists.

How do I save a movie or show?

Open the title’s detail screen and select Save. The title will appear under the Watchlist tab in My Collection. You can also select Like to add it to the Likes tab.

How do I remove saved items?

Open My Collection, choose Watchlist or Likes, and use the remove control for the title. Settings also provides controls to clear saved collection data.

How do I change genres?

Open Reels and use the genre selector to choose another genre. Your selected genre and other catalog preferences are stored on your device.

What data is stored locally?

CineVerse stores your watchlist, likes, media and genre choices, language, region, playback settings, and notification preference state on your device. These are not tied to an account. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I report a problem?

Contact support with the device model, operating-system version, CineVerse version, the screen you were using, what you expected, what happened, and the title or trailer involved. Do not send passwords, payment details, advertising identifiers, or other sensitive information.
